NY Jobless Benefits

(The most recent figures put New York's jobless rate at 8.7 percent, putting the state into the 20-week category.)"

  2. There is very little reliable on WW these days. The reason some states are questioning whether or not they will get 14 or 20 weeks is if they drop below the 8.5% - during 3 rolling months requirement then they do not know if they will be entitled to the additional weeks unless another bill is passed. No states unemployment rate is etched in stone, it can go up or go down. Most states are looking for clarification on this issue.
